Chocolate, cherries and protein...a yummy way to keep your tummy satisfied through the afternoon.
Over low heat, combine almond butter, agave nectar and coconut oil until warmed. Stir until blended.
In food processor, pulse almonds until the size of peas. Add dried cherries and pulse until they are chopped. Add coconut, pulse a few more times. Add protein powders and pulse a few times to mix.
Put dry ingredients in large bowl. Pour warmed almond butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until combined. You may have to add small amounts of water if the mixture is too dry; mixture should not be dry and crumbly but soft and pliable.
Pat into 9 x 13 pan. Smooth top. Cut into bite sized squares. Refrigerate. Will set up slightly in fridge.
